Tiny House for a Banker

This schematic design proposal was commissioned by a tiny house enthusiast who dreamt of escaping his life in the financial sector and exploring the great outdoors on four wheels. The client is a tall fellow (6’7”) whose campervan fell short of his requirements. He needed a space tailored to his height, but as the volume of a trailer is very restrictive the programme was required to be very flexible and adaptive. The bed, which is a standard double size for economic purposes is extended in frame depth to accommodate his height adequately and is designed to transform into a dining or work surface by closing the hinged panel over the mattress.
